so here's a brief overview of what LARP is:

LARP (Live Action Role Play) is an immersive form of entertainment that brings you deep into the action. Whether you’re a veteran LARPer, or a newbie just picking up your first sword, there’s something for everyone in the exciting world of Cryptid Chronicles! LARP can best be described as a form of role-playing that blends live-action and improvisation genres into an interactive experience where players assume the roles of fictional chracters in a semi-scripted story where they can use their creativity, critical thinking, skills, and knowledge to make decisions that directly impact the shape of the game world.

Just like online or table-top RPGs, think DND in particular, LARP is a form of collaborative storytelling where you step fully into the role of the character you make in order to unleash your creative potential. It’s social, interactive (as in the actions you make your character do can directly impact how the story unfolds), and fun! LARP is a great way to connect with people who share your interests, make new friends, and live out awesome moments that you may never otherwise get to experience in your daily life.
